Important PAMLA Announcement: Conference Postponed Until 2021

Dear PAMLA Friends and Members,

In order to protect our members during the current pandemic, the PAMLA Board has voted to postpone the PAMLA conference until the fall of 2021. This was not an easy decision to make, but the health and safety of our members is the most important thing. As a result, we will be putting everything on hold until January 10, 2021, when the paper proposal system will reopen for new submissions. Abstracts will be accepted for what is now the 2021 PAMLA conference until  April 15, 2021.  Should you have any questions, feel free to call or email PAMLA Executive Director Craig Svonkin: 626-354-7526 or [email protected].

Given the obstacles facing our association in these difficult times, if you could see fit to join PAMLA for the 2020 year, and perhaps make a donation of any amount to our General Fund, that would be most appreciated. PAMLA has been an important association for many of us for many years. It has provided us with a place to share our research, a place to make new scholarly friends and, at our annual conference, see our older PAMLA friends. It has provided younger scholars a welcoming place to learn about our discipline and to share their research. So, if you can, please rejoin PAMLA for the 2020 year, and if you are able, please consider donating to the PAMLA General Fund. A donation of any amount is most welcome. We could use your support:

So, we hope you, your loved ones, and your students and colleagues are well! And we hope to see you at the fall 2021 PAMLA conference.
