We would like to solicit proposals for the Special Sessions for next year’s conference that will be held Friday and Saturday, November 6 and 7 in San Francisco, CA (exact dates soon to be confirmed). Special Sessions are workshops, seminars, or panels on any topic with a special focus and more specific focus than those of the General Sessions. Special Sessions for our 2009 PAMLA Conference may be proposed at the written request of any PAMLA member. If you are interested, please send your proposal — by December 15 — to PAMLA’s First Vice-President, Thierry Boucquey, at [email protected].
Sessions that are accepted by the committee will be included in the Call For Papers we send out to all members early February.
Please note that, in order to avoid conflicts of interest: 1) no more than one presenter in a Session may be from the Presiding Officer’s own institution, and 2) Presiding Officers should not plan to present a paper in the session they are organizing.
