114th Annual Conference - Pasadena, California
Friday, November 11 - Sunday, November 13, 2016

Jewish Literature and Culture

Presiding Officer:
Renee Grodsky, California State University, Los Angeles

This session welcomes paper proposals on any aspect of Jewish literature and culture, but this year, given the conference theme of "Archives, Libraries, Properties," papers exploring Jewish concepts connected to such issues as intellectual property and copyright, the nature of books and texts as material and virtual objects, the changing role of the library and the collection, to broader themes related to how knowledge is organized, preserved or represented in literary and visual cultures, are particularly welcome.
