Latin American Women and Nineteenth-Century Periodicals

This panel focuses on how nineteenth-century Latin American periodicals became a “habitat” in which Latin-American women writers were able to develop and expand their knowledge in the “arte de la escritura” while creating a public space to explore their subjectivity and their role in the new progressive nations.
