Conference Check-in

Members may obtain a name badge and printed copy of the conference program at the registration desk located on the Western Washington University campus. Registration times will be available on the online conference schedule.

2018 PAMLA Registration and Conference Fees

Conference attendees may pay their PAMLA dues and conference registration fees via our mail-in registration form or our online form.

PAMLA membership is required for all conference presiding officers, chairs, and presenters (your membership is due by July 15, 2018; the conference fee is due by October 1, 2018.  For those who pay their conference fee after October 1, there will be an additional $10 late fee charged.).

Your dues payment gives you membership in PAMLA for the calendar year, so no matter when you join in 2018, your membership expires at the end of the 2018 year.

Online registration is our preferred method, for ease of record keeping. You may also use this system to pay for the Friday Presidential Address Luncheon, Saturday Plenary Address Luncheon, or to make a donation to our PAMLA Scholarship Fund (the graduate students assisted by this fund do greatly benefit from your financial support):

A paper form is also available for mail-in registrations (we do prefer the online method above, which is entirely safe and reliable).  If you wish to use the mail-in option, please print out the form below, fill it out completely, and mail it in to Executive Director Craig Svonkin (address provided on form), with your check made out to PAMLA:

Free Attendance

Students and faculty of our sponsoring institution (Western Washington University) may attend PAMLA 2018 for free, as long as they are not presenting or chairing a session. You do not need to pre-register. Simply check-in at the conference.

If you are presenting a paper or chairing a session, then you must register and pay your PAMLA membership and conference fees, even if you are affiliated with WWU.  If you wish to attend one of the luncheons, then you must pay for that luncheon.

Limited Number of Free Luncheons for Graduate Students Willing to Help Out
For graduate students who wish to attend one of the luncheons for free, please contact PAMLA Executive Director Craig Svonkin: 626-354-7526 or svonkin@netzero.com. We will be providing a certain number of complimentary luncheons in exchange for some volunteer service at the Registration Desk during the conference.
